Dr Yan Ying is Director of the Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies, University of Leicester, UK. She has published on Chinese American literature, Chinese immigrant writing, British literature, autobiographical writing and translation. She is also an active literary translator and has translated works of Marilynne Robinson, Martin Amis and other writers into Chinese.
讲座简介：
The talk will focus on the setup of the MA in Translation programme, University of Leicester, UK. In addition, it will introduce a range of professional and academic activities that support the programme, organised by the Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies.
This event will also invite conversation on the challenges and opportunities for translation programmes and broader humanity disciplines in today’s rapidly changing world.
